THE ART OF RELAXATION


Relaxation is used here to mean the state of not having any undue tension in the body as well as in mind. To be a successful and happy entrepreneur one needs a relaxed mind.
Bodily tension can be eased simply by having a good rest or a good sleep.
Mental tension is a lot more complex and is tacked in different ways by different people.
Here are some of the ways:
  • ·       Vigorous physical activity e.g. sports.
  • ·       Meditation
  • ·       Watching films, listening to music.
  • ·       Long walk into forest or by sea.
  • ·       Talking to friends
Some other people use ways like sex and drugs but for a good entrepreneur it won’t be right at all.

The last ones may appear beneficial in the short term but if great care is not taken the long term effects may be disastrous.
Research shows the following beliefs to be shared by those who consistently exhibit the ability to relax.

A Peaceful mind generates power

The power to think better, power to do more, to perform better.
Worry and anxiety are parasites that feed on this power rendering the person less effective.
